The room had a balcony with an unbeatable view of the Eiger, making mornings special. It was cozy with a double bed, TV, and free toiletries. The lounge area featured an honesty bar, which was a nice touch. Breakfast included fresh fruits and local cheeses. The staff were super helpful, arranging transfers and giving insights on trails.

The shower had inconsistent hot water, yet the mountain view was breathtaking.

The room smelled of smoke, which is truly unacceptable in a nonsmoking area. I was shocked that no one even offered me a complimentary upgrade after such discomfort. While I appreciate Daniel's kindness, I did encounter a rather rude lady who raised her voice at my questions. I almost gave a glowing review but just couldn’t.

Breathtaking views in Grindelwald! 🏔️
The view from our balcony was just mind-blowing! Brekkie was lekker, and the vibe in the hotel was super chill. Chommie at reception helped us plan our hikes, which was a lifesaver!
Only downside was sharing the shower. a bit of a bummer but we managed.

Staying at the Jungfrau Lodge brought a mixture of highlights and a few hiccups. The breathtaking views from the balcony were phenomenal, offering an unobstructed panorama of the Eiger – a view that made mornings feel truly special. Our room had cozy furnishings, with a clean atmosphere and a delightful vibe. Breakfast options included fresh fruits and local cheeses, although I did find the selection a bit limited after a few days. The vibe in the hotel felt warm, and there was a nice honesty bar in the lounge area where we could relax after our daily adventures. the lack of air conditioning stood out, making it tough to sleep on warmer nights. The absence of a kettle in the room felt inconvenient too, especially for making late-night drinks. No lift access made carrying heavy luggage a bit of a trek, especially to our room on the second floor. Our showers had inconsistent hot water, particularly at peak times. Dinner could be booked separately, but it would’ve been nice to have more dining options within the hotel for a more streamlined experience. The staff was polite, yet some seemed a bit overwhelmed, leading to long wait times during check-in and check-out.

The breathtaking views from the balcony overlooking the Eiger made every morning feel special. The honesty bar and comfy lounge area added a nice touch for relaxation after a day of adventure.
Unfortunately, the rooms are lacking accessible electrical outlets, making it a hassle to charge devices. I found the soundproofing inadequate, as the clatter from upstairs and neighboring rooms could be quite a disturbance. the shared shower room situation felt a bit inconvenient at times, particularly during peak morning hours when it was crowded. Add to that the inconsistent hot water, especially at night, and it made those showers less than refreshing. Lastly, there was no air conditioning in the room, which made it a bit uncomfortable during warmer nights.
